THE DEADLINE FOR SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS HAS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUBMISSIONS. THE CALL FOR ARTISTS FOR HIGHTIDE 2009 WILL BE LAUNCHED ON THIS WEBSITE IN JULY 2008.
HighTide is now looking for new full-length scripts from emerging writers.
- Scripts in performance should be no longer than 1 hr 30 minutes.
- Selected writers will receive £3000 in respect of a one-year exclusive option for HighTide Festival Productions Ltd to produce the play at the Festival and beyond.
- Applicants must be resident in the UK or Ireland.
- Writers may submit one unproduced, unpublished full-length play (no longer than 90 minutes). There is no restriction on subject matter.
- The play should be sent to the address below, and must have a title page with author’s name, address and telephone number. Scripts will not be returned.
- If possible, the play should also be emailed to scripts@hightidefestival.org Please enter your name and title of script in the subject line.
